Dear friends in Great Neck and beyond,
Due to the coronavirus crisis in Great Neck that’s getting dire by the day, GNCA has decided to initiate an ongoing donation drive (which will last for up to two months or longer, depending on the situation). All donations will be dedicated to purchasing personal protection equipment for local emergency responders (including police officers, firefighters, and EMS etc.). They’re facing high risk of infection in performing their critical job functions. Many of them are currently working without any protection (e.g. masks). It’s incumbent on us to show them our appreciation and support at this critical moment!
