Our Mission
Founded in 1995, the Great Neck Chinese Association (“GNCA”) is a Section 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that serves the Great Neck Chinese community. HAPPY is our mission:
H: help new Chinese residents to integrate into the Great Neck community
A: advocate for the common good of our members
P: promote understanding of our culture and our people
P: promote community services and social involvement
Y: yield a harmonious and happy living environment for all in Great Neck
What We Do
GNCA serves its mission by engaging in the following activities:

works with Great Neck schools and community leaders to promote better understanding and acceptance of Chinese culture and Chinese residents;

hosts social and fun activities to bring Chinese community members together;

organizes entertainments and educational events to promote culture exchange with other communities;

promotes community services and provides resources to encourage social involvement by our members;

provides a venue for our members to network and exchange ideas and a platform for our members to interact with other organizations, local leaders and the Great Neck public on issues relating to the interest of our organization.
This year marks the 25th Anniversary of GNCA. During the past 25 years, GNCA, assisted by hundreds of its members and volunteers, has left many well-recognizable footprints in the progress of the Great Neck society. We are proud of our past achievements, but we are more looking forward to the future. GNCA welcomes all Great Neck residents and their relatives and friends to become its members, volunteers and sponsors. Together we are building that future!
